hello,
have checked around some but simply unable to find a resolution.
simply put, had done a fresh install of 10.04 and have kept it completely updated.
i had added a added a brightness applet in the beginning. however, since the very first time the applet disappears as soon as i try to click on it to adjust the screen brightness !
i do remember facing this issue with earlier releases of ubuntu. however, it seemed to disappear with fresh updates.
anyone ?
