any way of a workaround to get my RME Multiface 1 function
under Ubuntu Studio 10.10 AMD64 .

says in terminal ...

unable to read multiface _ blabalabala.bin for reading .

Any of a solution ?

Could you post the output of lspci -v and aplay -l?
