View Full Version : [ubuntu] Update causes GRUB fail?

I have had a successful dual boot system between ubuntu and windows 7 for a while, using grub2 (or 1.98 to be precise).

I have recently updated Ubuntu to the 10.04 distribution through the update manager. It works. But now, every time I try to boot windows, my computer either restarts or it brings me back to the grub screen like nothing happened.

For reference:
Output of "sudo cfdisk" (NOTE: As you've probably guessed, the two main partitions are sda1 and sda3, for storage at least.):

If you need anything else that would potentially solve the problem, I'll be more than happy to provide it!

Thanks in advance!

You'll need to post the output of the bootinfo script for more information on your system:
http://bootinfoscript.sourceforge.net/
