xcode for ubuntu

Is there a functional equivalent to xcode for the new Lucid Lynx release of Ubuntu (10.04)? I'm just beginning to write a IPHONE app and require a proper IDE, but dont want to use mac os... Thanks for any suggestions.

Just sticking my neck out here, but if you're looking to do iPhone development on Linux you might have more problems than just finding a good IDE (I too enjoy Eclipse). Note I do zero iPhone development, but I'd imagine the real problem is getting the proper sdk.

You may have to Google around for a bit. I do remember the Mono team was able to crack the iPad nut.
