Black screen

HEY

im new here
when i try to install on my laptop it comes to welcom screen and so i tell it to install and then it does the hole 5 dot thing and then i just get a black screen i left it for an hpur and nothing is happening
can someone please help me?

idk i just hit download on ubuntu website...toshiba tecra a2....
