View Full Version : [ubuntu] Cant Boot WinXP weird grub 2

I hardly ever use it so didn't realize till now there was a problem. WinXP shows up on the list when the PC boots but when you select it, it just goes back to the list. My results.txt is attached. It looks like I have several instances of grub...I really need to be able to boot into windows asap if anyone can help me

There is grub2 installed in the XP partition. Use this procedure to remove it from /dev/sda1, so that's partition #1 in disk /dev/sda:
