I wonder how diverse the community here is? Share your ethnic background!

I'm living in Newfoundland, Canada. Most of us are a mix of Irish and French. I am a little bit odd though, as my mother came from a small village settled by the English.

My father's side is Irish (possibly Scandinavian due to the Nordic influence?) and Scottish.

My mother's side is a bit weird though; German, Norwegian and English. My great-great-grandmother was an adopted aboriginal of unknown origin, but not Inuit. I could have miqmaq blood if that's the case.

All in all, I'm pretty much as white as it gets. Blond hair, blue eyes, pale skin. Not much ethnic mix.

Born in Chile. Heritage is mostly Spanish with touches of native americans (mostly Inca and Mapuche) and a little bit of English in my great-grandma's side.

I'm white-skinned with brown hair/eyes and crazy about fútbol ;)

Dark-red hair, grey-blue eyes, and a fondness for domestic birds are quickly found in me.

I'm Scotch-Irish. The Irish part of me loves to drink, but the Scotch part of me doesn't want to pay for it.

I am a mutt , my fathers family has been here since the 1750's and all the possible influences are unknown.
My last name is Scottish , but we have no ethnic traditions that we celebrate as a family.
