hi..
I am a linux newbie. i want to install LIVES, a video editor on my ubuntu lucid.
After untarring the archive , i ran "./configure" to compile the package.
It said that

"checking for X11... configure: error: Package requirements (x11) were not met:

No package 'x11' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix."
what went wrong? Also i need to know how to install a package with all the dependencies are met during the installation (like build-dep)

Thanks..

LIVES is ready and wait for you into synaptic packages manager as all the other packages you can need: system admin synaptic
