I just installed Ubuntu 10.4 and I really don't like the new theme, so I went ahead and installed the Human theme from the terminal and now I'm trying to install the Tango icons so it can looks like the Human theme from 9.04.

For example, in the "System" menu there are no icons, it's all empty. That's what I'm trying to do. Any help would be appreciated.

I wanted the menu icons back, and found an option in the configuration editor that worked for me.

In gconf-editor I put a checkmark by desktop>gnome>interface>menus_have_icons.

That's exactly what I was trying to do. Thank you very much.

But I still can't install the Tango icons...

Since I couldn't install the icons theme straight from Lucid Lynx, what I did is copy the icons set from Ubuntu 9.04 and the paste it to the icons directory. This is /usr/share/icons/.
