Hello:guitar:
I installed the latest nvidia driver on my hdx16 yesterday.so far everything is working fine, except for the loading and shutdown screen which is totally distorted. i tried removing the driver and re-installing, but nothing seems to solve the problem

Is there any beta or old driver that can possibly work with Lucid 10.04?

:confused::confused:

hey
thanks for your reply

does it have anything to do with the splash screen?I;ve read somewhere that the problem im experiencing has to do with the plymouth splash screen since the nvidia proprietary drivers clash with the plymouth driver...nt too sure
