hi,
does ubuntu have some kind of shortcut like the one used in windows for bringing up the shutdown menu ?
in windows pressing Alt + F4 brings up the shutdown menu.
although Alt works with F1 and F2, there seems to be no setting for F4 .
anyone ?
thanks!

You could always use Control-Alt-Delete .....
but if you really wish to change it , then go to system menu >> preferences >> keyboard shortcuts
then:
go to Desktop then click logout and press the new key combination. If you use alt-f4, this will clash wih the "close window" shortcut , but you can still change it ...
