I used to have a proxy in my college, through which I used to connect to internet.
Now I moved out of my campus, and the proxy was a local address in my college (10.1.1.21) and now it is a direct connection to internet at my home.
now when I do "apt-get update" or open synaptic, and try to update or install, it says, cannot connect to 10.1.1.20
i did "unset http_proxy" and tried to update, but the problem persists. Is there any other proxy setting which I am missing?
