I upgraded to 10.04 and can't get flash to work. I tried to run the update package and got this message:

Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/lucid/Release Unable to find expected entry partner/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)
Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Any ideas what is happening? I'm a ubuntu newbie.

Could you please post the output of these commands (from a Terminal (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/GnomeTerminal))

The last line in your sources.list doesn't look correct.

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu lucid partner as the partner repositories are already there as
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner
deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner

Edit the file
gksudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list and put a # in front of that line, save the file, and then run
sudo apt-get update and see if that fixes your problem.

Good Luck

One more quick question. How do I change the topic header to 'Solved'?
