I came across a Serial ATA HDD 20GB in my house last night. The funniest part is I don't even know where it came from. Anyways I plugged into my laptop for some extra space but was wondering if anybody had any ideas If there was anything in particular that I could do with it besides just extra space.

Perfect for loading alternative distros;testing Maverick;backup /home;transfer /home;format NTFS,Fat if you transfer to & from Windows.

I am running a 30G disc in an old Acer Travelmate and running Lupu , XP on it and Lucid 64 on an external 320G.

A guy I work with was looking for old HDDs to build a stirring device for his beer brewing kit.

Maybe you could take up brewing?
