Hello,
I 've been running Kubuntu 10.4 for some time now.
At some point, I installed evolution-indicator and indicator-messages, and after reboot, the system booted on GNOME instead of KDE.
Is there any way to reverse it? I tried uninstalling both packages but that did not have any effects.

Have you tried the session menu at the login screen? That's where you always choose the session type (gnome, kde, xfce, etc etc) when you have alternative DEs installed.
I have not used kde for so long that I don't know where the session menu is placed on that screen, but look around and I'm sure you'll find it.

Thank you for your reply.
When on login screen I am able to choose KDE and KDE is loaded. But, altough all my panels are where they used to be, the appearance of the whole desktop seems less smooth. Colors have changed a little, my panels don't slide smoothly when i place the cursor on them (they just pop up) and some widgets are a little out of their place.
I really don't know how to fix this..
