Hi all.
This is my first post on Ubuntu Forums. I have actually been using Ubuntu since 8.04. Anyways, I have a problem when I'm trying to decrease the brightness on my screen, as unfortunately I can't decrease the brightness at all when I press the brightness function buttons on the keyboard or even when going into System > Preferences > Power Management. I am currently using Ubuntu 10.04 amd64 on an HP tm2t tablet pc (it's the one with integrated Intel graphics, not the one with ATI Radeon graphics). the OS acknowledges that I pressed the buttons (it shows the brightness bar decreasing), but there is no actual decrease in brightness. I have a basic understanding of the inner workings of Linux, but I haven't been able to find a config file where I can change the values to fix this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
