...that flash seems to be working properly on Lucid Lynx?

Back in the day (9.04), it was one thing that worked sort of ok, but certainly not fullscreen. Now my laptop (with no specification changes) seems to be doing full screen flash with aplomb.

Odd. New version of flash? Or is it the Lynx effect?

Maybe this comic doesn't apply anymore:

Never had a problem with flash in any of about 20 different distro's. If you have a flash blocker like noscript the warning about adobe is not so serious.

Adobe also in the link if you use adobe has a file mentioned to remove.

Flash should only be used when needed in a confirmed legitimate web page, and never open a pdf on the web from the web if your really worried, download it and use the Ubuntu pdf reader.

I enabled the proposed repo for a look see and got the new nVidia driver version 195.36.24. And full screen flash is miles better. I know it's not "the" latest but it's in the repo.
64 bit plugin.

Impossible. Apple deemed Flash dead, you mean sites simply didn't bow to the whims of the iPad and convert?
