the last time I tried to run that command it accidentally performed a
rm -rf /brain/knowledge
just the day before the exam.

Compilation succeeded without errors.

I added the --debug option to that command. Seems to have fixed the issue.

killall -9 internet
that should help

Do not use killall! This is Bad News and rather nonstandard! If you try this on a Unix system, it can result in it killing every process on your computer, so it is generally wise to use "pkill" instead.

Considering the way I started the service is specific to certain linux distros that use upstart, I think it's safe to kill a process in a Linux specific way as well. It's faster than getting the PID and then killing it. :)
