How can I stop fluxbox from affecting GNOME?

I just installed fluxbox recently and I'm getting used to it so I'm trying to install some new themes and stuff. The problem is: When I change my gtk theme is changes it on GNOME as well. Is it possible to stop this from happening at alll?

i think the best way would be a separate user for each, say your current one for gnome & create a new user, say fluxbox, just for fluxbox.
