So lets say theres a team of linux developers making an Itouch like device for Open Source linux. Its completly made from the linux kernel, framebuffer and gtk+. Lets say its well polished graphics wise and lets say they need ideas to really take on Apple. What ideas could take on Apple????
And lets say that the price of this so called linux "itouch" was a fair amount lower than the Itouch.
Maybe im hinting maybe im not :)

Yeah the Nokia N800 - 900 runs Maemo (linux, gtk, debian based) and nice looking, but that is a phone.

I use Rockbox on my ipod which is not Linux but is an open source audio/video playback OS and firmware that supports a bunch of random mp3 players. Rockbox has a lot of little features that the older ipods lack.
