Zotac MAG MAGHD-ND01-U: Use UNE or Full Distro?

I'm about to receive a new Zotac MAG MAGHD-ND01-U (http://bit.ly/c2SYO) and I'm wondering if perhaps it would be smarter to install UNE instead of the standard distribution. The computer will be used almost exclusively as an HTPC using Boxee. I've read that UNE has atom optimized code; that along with a smaller footprint may speed up the overall system.

What do you think? Can anyone confirm?

As of 10.04, Ubuntu no longer has a separate release for the Atom processor.

I would actually recommend the amd64 (64-bit) release, to take advantage of your 2nd core.
