any of you tried and appreciate the new gnome-shell on lucid ?

i may give it a shot, if i find that others find it favorable.

my desktop btw, is a bit messy.

I tried it maybe half a year ago or more around when Karmic came out (Can't remember if it was before or after), and I wasn't so impressed; I'm not a fan of change for the sake of change. But then again, I am an advocate of tiling window managers like Awesome. So I'm not exactly a good measurement of mainstream opinion. :p

I don't use it and didn't really know what it was until I "googled it", but I know I will not be using it anytime soon...
I like my desktop the way it is - uncluttered...
