Problem #1:
Here's a minor problem I've been having with the notification area. I've lived with it for some time now, never bothering to fix it.

As you can see, the Steam (via Wine) and VLC icons have a white background instead of a transparent one. I figure the two are probably related. I believe I started having this problem after updating to 10.04.

Problem #2 (SOLVED):
I can't take screenshots of "auto-complete", because pressing Alt+PrintScreen causes the drop-down menu to go away.

Funny examples of what it should look like can be found on Autocomplete Me (http://autocompleteme.com/).

Problem #3 (WORKAROUND):
Screenshots have my mouse cursor in them. Is there a way to disable that?

Thanks in advance, guys. Keep up the good work.

I also have the same issue as problem #1.

#2
Go To:

Applications > Accessories > Take Screenshot

Set the delay for a few seconds. Then it will capture your drop down menus.

You can edit out the pointer with a photo editor such as gimp.

Thank you for your solution to problem #2. Your solution to #3 isn't exactly ideal, but it's better than nothing, so thanks for that, too.
