View Full Version : Google Analytics accuracy

Apologies if this is the wrong forum... over the past month or so have been wondering how accurate Google Analytics is.

The content overview section of GA reports a much lower number of page views than that counted on the website (they're visible below each story for people with admin privileges).

As an example, the site figures tells me about 600 pages have been viewed among the three latest stories in one of the sections.

But the content overview section of GA says about 350 pages have been viewed in that entire section, which has a couple of hundred posts.

The analytics figure never catches up with the stats visible on the site.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas what the issue might be?

Cheers,

Blair
