Hi,
When I first upgraded to Lucid, the system was left in an unusable state because the keyboard and mouse were both not working after bootup. This problem was faced by many others with the same configuration as me(cf. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1477859 )
My configuration is this
Pentium D 2.8 Ghz CPU
Intel D102G Motherboard
512 MB RAM
My understanding is that the problem is apic related- passing noapic fixes these problems for some people. Karmic works perfectly fine. I would like to know if this issue has been fixed so that I can upgrade.
