How can I turn off the re-submit password box after time away from computer (Lucid)

I do not need this facility, frequently need to leave the computer, and can find no place to control this having to re-submit password when I return. Many thanks if you can help.

I guess you refer when the screensaver appears. If so, go to Preferences > Screensaver and check "lock screen when screensaver is active"

Thanks for the steer, Linye. What I found was that option to "lock screen when screensaver is active" was already ticked. What has worked however, is de-activating the screensaver altogether. So now as long as I don't use screensaver - problem solved.

The check box is supposed to be un-ticked :)
