Notify OSD shows black text

Hi all, im having problems with my Notify OSD.. time ago i followed a guide to customize it:

Yesterday, ubuntu (im using Karmic) showed me some updates, i installed them and since that day all the text in every bubble (from the Notify OSD) looks like this:

I suggest using this to customize NotifyOSD: http://www.webupd8.org/2010/05/finally-easy-way-to-customize-notify.html ... you can customize settings without compiling it each time.

There's also a GUI for easy customization at the bottom.
