I'd like to have a macro for a terminal!!

back when I ran ubuntu (standard), I set a macro of ctrl+alt+t to open a terminal. how do I do this in xubuntu?

Mark your thread with xubuntu tag cause, you know, t is not most popular version.
Do you use compiz? If yes, it has hotkeys plugin for such things installed by default.
