Hi there :)

I am looking to install ubuntu 10.04 to a USB flash drive so I can carry my whole OS around with me. I have successfuly used the method of putting a live cd on the flash drive with persistence, but I find it impractical. Is there a way of installing the full OS onto my USB flash drive just as I would a hard drive and bring able to boot from it?

Thanks in advance :)
Laurece

Is that a full instillation rather than a live cd? I'm quite a novice user of Linux and (while I would be able to follow them) I can't see what those instructions would achieve.

Thanks for the speedy reply, especially if it is a full instillation!
