I am new to Linux and am setting up Ubuntu boxes to use as a thin client to connect to our citrix farm. I want to put a link to our help desk (web application) on the desktop but I do not want users to be able to browse the web from these boxes.

Is there a way for me to redirect all web traffic to my help desk site if a user tries to browse the web from these clients?

I am trying not to use DNS or our corporate firewall to do this as I will have some users not using a thin client and I need them to be able to access the web from their computers. I am looking for a solution to be deployed locally to the Ubuntu client.

Thanks for any suggestions.
