Got fullscreen, but cannot ctrl-f to reverse it!

Not showing the menu along the top that allows me to resize and mount my USB drive.

Any ideas?

are you using the right side ctrl. The left side on will do nothing.

In full screen mode, the frame goes away and there should be a hidden toolbar that will slide out when you hover the mouse at the center edge of the screen (top or bottom, depending on how you set it up.)

Which VirtualBox are you using? OSE or PEUL?

Are you using the latest VBox (3.2.2). Have you upgraded VBox and ALSO reinstalled the appropriate Guest Additions for that version?

What is the guest OS? Some guests can be problematic. The Guest Additions do not seem to be everything to everyone.

I have 8 guest machines. I have trouble with full screen issues and resolution running Dreamlinux.

If you add you USB keyboard to USB devices list, it stops working. Make sure you didn't add.
May be some keyboarddriver-specifics. Try remapping yor VirtualBox hostkey to something. ScrollLock fits well.
If nothing happens, try disabling compiz. It may intercept keys.

Installed version 3.2.2 and all is OK.

Thanks....
