I had really wanted to have ubuntu on my computer, had tried the officail 9.10 cd, never worked, on the pulsing logo screen eventually it freezes.
Tried 10.04 when it came out. Booted into live cd, worked fine, so i chose to install it. However when i was trying to resize my partition, the partitioner froze, stuck at 0% forever untill i turned the computer off.
I have tried again to boot into either live mode or just the install mode to isntall it, but now at the loading screen with the 4 dots that turn red i think or purple, it freezes after a minute or two.
