Hello, I have an HP Photosmart c4580 printer which isn't often recognized by my Lucid 10.04 OS. I have the latest HPLIP and installed CUPS, but it seems to work when it feels like it. When I try to print it just tells me that there are no HP devices found/connected and that there's no PPD file. When I find the PPD after browsing and go to add printer, I get Printer queue setup failed.
Please restart CUPS and try again. Any help appreciated.:confuseps. Acer Aspire quad core and sometimes weirdly the printer is recognized and prints!
