Hello all,
This is my first try at Ubuntu or Linux for that mater :)
Downloaded the desktop version from the site (10.04) and i would like to try it out on virtual PC 2007 first.
Create a new vpc and set the DVD drive to use the iso file downlowaded from the site, I get the language selection, select english, then whatever i select from the menu, everything stops and the vpc closes.
My pc is intel core 2 quad Q6600 and i downloaded the 32bits as virtual pc only gives you a 32bits environment.
I also downloaded the server version 32 bits to try out on another pc (AMD Athlon XP 3000 that one) and got the same result from a DVD that i burned from the iso.
In each cases, i downloaded the iso more then once to make sure that the issue wasn't from the download.
Anyone has an idea of what could be happenning?
