I have recently upgraded to Lucid 10.04.
I have two Nvidia 6200 dual-port cards, with three monitors attached.
I am continually getting xorg freezes, this only happens when the cpu is busy and I move the mouse pointer from one screen to another. When I do, the cursor freezes (flickers) in the transition between the screens and I can no longer use the mouse or keyboard, I think it's X that has frozen, as the seconds on the clock no longer advance. The only way to get out is to hit the restart button.
At the end of Xorg.0.log, is the following...
(II) config/udev: Adding input device ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse (/dev/input/event6)
(**) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: Applying InputClass "evdev pointer catchall"
(**) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: always reports core events
(**) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: Device: "/dev/input/event6"
(II) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: Found 3 mouse buttons
(II) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: Found scroll wheel(s)
(II) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: Found relative axes
(II) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: Found x and y relative axes
(II) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: Configuring as mouse
(**) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: YAxisMapping: buttons 4 and 5
(**) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: EmulateWheelButton: 4, EmulateWheelInertia: 10, EmulateWheelTimeout: 200
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse" (type: MOUSE)
(II) ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse: initialized for relative axes.
(II) config/udev: Adding input device ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse (/dev/input/mouse1)
(II) No input driver/identifier specified (ignoring)
(II) config/udev: Adding input device Macintosh mouse button emulation (/dev/input/event3)
(**) Macintosh mouse button emulation: Applying InputClass "evdev pointer catchall"
(**) Macintosh mouse button emulation: always reports core events
(**) Macintosh mouse button emulation: Device: "/dev/input/event3"
(II) Macintosh mouse button emulation: Found 3 mouse buttons

(II) config/udev: Adding input device Macintosh mouse button emulation (/dev/input/mouse0)
(II) No input driver/identifier specified (ignoring)
but, I only have one mouse, which is the Logitech three button/scroll wheel mouse that's the first to be detected. I'm suspecting that it's the Macintosh driver that's messing my system up.
How can I prevent Xorg from loading the Macintosh driver, and only use the Logitech one?
