where would I get more options for an arch install than just base and base-devel, like in this image provided by a softpedia install guide

I picked the options shown on some youtube vids. Make sure you get your wireless drivers/utilities loaded first. The Arch wiki is AWESOME and will tell you exactly what you need to do for your card.

First you choose the groups (base and base-devel), then afterwards you choose the individual package within the groups. If thats what you mean ?

Other stuff can be added after the installation is done and you reboot, using pacman.

EDIT: I believe that screenshot is of an older version of the arch install cd. The newer versions only allow base or base devel.

After it is installed, try using pacman.
