stats are uselessThis. Statistics are easy to manipulate to whatever you want them to say.

The likes of Alexa are fairly accurate when it comes to the top 10000 sites, beyond that their alogorithm is unreliable.

start.ubuntu.com is more popular than the forums both in OPs site and Alexa.

EDIT: Sorry, it's "ubuntu.com" that gets searched on alexa, so that includes non-start pages as well, such as the main site and the wiki.
