Hi,
I recently started with a fresh 10.04 server install. The install completed okay and I was able to boot but whenever I shutdown completely:
sudo shutdown -P now
and restart, I can no longer boot - grub 2 doesn't show up, I just get a blinking cursor, then the signal to the monitor cuts out. I tried the installation a second time, and the same thing happens. I can only open a shell using the installation cd.
Any help would be very appreciated.
