I made a fresh Ubuntu 10.04 installation on my HP laptop 3 weeks ago. The hardware are Intel P 2G, Intel 915 Graphic, 1G memory.
Nearly all things are right, except desktop freeze/hang periodically (I guess once an hour or so). And it will resolve after about 15s.
How can I know what caused the freeze(I guess root cause is Intel 915 Graphic driver). Can I use any tool to record the freeze?
BTW, I have no such freeze problem on Ubuntu 9.04.
