Hello,

Everything so far seems to be great other then the audio. It works, just not right. Here are my problems

I have two jacks on the side of my laptop, one for headphones, one for microphones. The one for headphones works, but it doesn't work right. Things that are in stereo tend to only come in one channel or the other, not both.

The other problem I am having is with the microphone jack, when my headset is plugged in, I get audio from the headphones, but no sound from the Mic.

Here are the spec's

Gateway NV52-14u
AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-64
ATI Radeon HD 3200

I am a beginner when it comes to all of this. I wouldn't say completely dumb, but not as savvy as most users.

This is now fixed. Nothing I read or tried worked. And after hours of reading I just re installed Ubuntu and everything magically worked.... I hate when that is the case.
