Problem trying to complete order on ubuntu shop

Hi, Im not sure about if this is the right place to post it, but Im trying to buy some stuff from the Ubuntu shop since some days and I cant complete the process because the next error


An error occured when we tried to contact PayPal's servers.

Field format error: 10729-The field Shipping Address State is required

I have open an enquiry on the shop but with no results (https://shop.canonical.com/enquiries.php?ID=9974&g=204385b56b4e3ed378beb8aaf68b03c1&action=update)

Im trying to buy from Argentina, and Im not sure about if there is a problem with my "state" field format, or if its a problem with the oscommerce configuration, because I have tried a lot of state combination for Buenos Aires as BA, BSAS, Buenos Aires, etc, and always the same error.

Hi lostinxlation, I think that in this case there is a problem with the paypal module implementation of the oscommerce system that canonical uses in their shop.

Is quite bad because surely there are more people like me who want to contribute from outside USA and its not possible, at least from Argentina. I have sent some messages trying to help to solve it, I hope it could get fixed soon.

Im trying to buy a 20 cd pack. Im actually interested in becoming a Ubuntu distribution partner.

While trying to checkout using my Indian address via Paypal. I am getting the same issue.

Okay.. The problem exists from 05/2010.

Which means, Orders outside USA has been blocked by this bug for more than 7 months? Somebody please fix the Ubuntu shopping cart please.

You'd be better off clicking the contact us link at the bottom of the page. The people that look after Ubuntu web sites, don't frequent the forums. I've also removed your name and address.
