So my problem is that I had Ubuntu 10.04 installed on my server box but something where my other computers could not see the files. So I reinstalled Ubuntu to 9.10 but I don't know how to mount the RAID drive. I do not want to reformat the RAID because I have data on it still. I tried fstab but it cannot see the RAID device since the UUID of the RAID drive is not located in the dev/disk/by-uuid directory.

So is there a way to mount my RAID drive without repartitioning or reformatting? Thanks.

I have a similar issue too. Except I have a RAID drive that was in a network drive, and the controller in the network drive went bad. Now I am desperately trying to find a way to retrieve the information from it.
