When i put an sd card in my kubuntu no longer auto detects it. instead I have to navigate there in dolphin. how can get kubuntu to auto detect again?

O.k looked a little deeper and i saw that the system tray no longer had the device notifier. I don't know what happened for it to disappear but i added it as a widget so i guess the problem is solved.
