Many of you were saying it was just a joke. It isn't. I just compiled it, and what do you know, it works, it's pretty laggy on this computer, but it does indeed work. HTML5 is pretty impressive. The only downsides are it's darkness, and the fact that it doesn't "grab" your cursor. You click on the center of the screen and drag it around accordingly, the sensitivity is high because of it. It's pretty hard to navigate with, however it does work. Still, it was only a demo of HTML5 and webGL's capabilities.

That was on April fools day?
I actually never doubted it, but who knows... It seemed [and still seems] plausible.

I don't recall that on april fool's day. It's totally legit - had no doubts that it's coming.

Quake 2 was a dark game, anyway.
