I was just wondering if there was an easy way to change from my nvidia drivers to the testing nouveau 3d drivers (like fedora 13 has). I would not mind using the nvidia drivers, but when I have compiz running I can not watch video files unles I minimize all my windows, and/or make my video window small.

I have been playing with fedora 13, and I can watch any size video with as many windows open as I want. I am not a gamer, and don't need high speed 3D, but I do like compiz, and I don't like to have to minimize my windows to watch a video.

So if there is an easy way to change over from my nvidia drivers in ubuntu 10.04, to the nouveau ones in fedora 13, I would like to give it a try.

Thanks

David
