It is an emotional and the best comrades marathon ever. The world's largest ultra-marathon, 90Km, its now just close 12:00's into the race and over 80percent of the more than 18000 runners have finished. It's amazing how 2010 has brought people together through sport. The broadcast has been running since 6:30 am CAT and i've been watching and tracking my friends and colleagues. Next year i'm thinking of entering, so many inspirational people have gone against the odds including an 80 year old man, a man from england running in a huge and heavy rhino suit with the motto saying ''save the rhino''(the rhino is an endangered species).
Oh the 12:00 limit just went and unfortunately 2000 people didn't male it, but it's still an achievement. I take my hat off for these people. One thing i would like seeing is more youth, let's spend more time on our legs and less on computers. Congrats to all participants
