View Full Version : [ubuntu] Live USB startup freeze

First post so sorry if it's obvious or answered before but...I have setup a usb pendrive with the latest desktop ubuntu and have the BIOS set so the USB is first choice. Loads as normal until the ubuntu logo appears then freezes up on that screen during loading. Tried other distros; netbook ubuntu, fedora, mint and opensuse all the same freezing on the load screen.
Had netbook installed but deleted it as wanted to have fedora running instead. The distros worked from the thumb drive before I uninstalled netbook ubuntu so assume I've done something but not sure what.
Uninstalled by deleting the ubuntu partition (dual boot with windows7) and reinstated the MBR using easyBCD.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
