Recently i got a message that i can upgrade Ubuntu from 9.04 to 10.4.
I did and now Ubuntu does not start up.
When starting the laptop it show the Ubuntu logo with the dots beneth going from white to red and after it show this for a while i get a black screen.
I'm using a Dell D400 laptop that was running perfect on 9.04.
In the past i had screen problems when changeing the resolution.
Even using a external screen shows nothing.
Any option i can rescue some data?
