where else do you use vim besides the terminal? it seems a waste to learn all these great features but i can't use them outside the terminal. im sure others out there have put it to good use :)

In Windows. Sure, Eclipse may have better context prediction but it takes an hour to start up. Notepad++ is easier but can't beat Vim's features. So, gvim is my default editor in Windows.

Thanks! I'm using Vimperator right now. But navigation seems excessived compare to a mouse click. I'd have to press F+Link Number compared to clicking a mouse. Maybe theres a more fluent way of using it.
