Have you ever heard of the onboard video's HDMI port giving lousy video at every resolution yet the VGA works fine?

My hdmi cable works ok with my xbox, by OK I mean it looks like everyone elses with HDMI and a HDTV for a display.

Just now Im wondering same thing. I have samsung R580 laptop, and Im afraid that hdmi port of this comp is just so crappy. My PS3 shows hdmi picture right, but with nvidia 330M hdmi its very granular. And I thinked about using 22" hdtv as my primary display at home!

I have also newest nvidia drivers, but no good. Driver version is 260.19.12

Im still searching solution or answer for this.
